Beach area of NYC.
Eric studied business management and was on a career path in banking when he resolved to go into business for himself. When the old Brighton Health Food Shop (which had served the community for over 50 years) went out of business, Eric seized the opportunity. He purchased, renovated, and re-opened the store in 2002 under its current name, Eric’s Health Food Shoppe.
A wholehearted believer in the organic lifestyle, Eric maintains a natural foods diet at home with his family. They try every new product before it goes on store shelf. If his family doesn’t like it, Eric won’t sell it.
